Artist Marinos Lianakis was born in Greece 49 years ago. His interest in art began at a very early age, seeking opportunities to appreciate and create it. As with his other life accomplishments, he labors obsessively refining his skills.

The product of his passion, dedication and natural talent are evident in all his artistic works. His works have been exhibited in various art galleries in Greece and abroad: Piraeus Art Gallery (Piraeus 1977), Art Gallery "O" (Athens 1978), Art Gallery "Medousa" (Athens 1980), Art Gallery "Ergastiri" (Larissa 1981), Art Gallery "Stavrakakis" (Iraklio, Crete 1982), Art Gallery "Panselinos" (Salonica 1984), "Dada" Art Gallery (Athens 1986), "Piraeus Studio of Contemporary Art" (Piraeus 1990), Palais De Congres (Aix-En-Provence, France 1979).

Concurrently, he created an enormous collection of limited-edition SCREEN PRINTS series which are all based on his own works of art from various periods of his artistic life. Many of his works may be found in various private collections in Greece and abroad, including the Greek Ministry of Culture & Arts.
